WiredTrust was commissioned by an internet charity to fill a gap in the educational material available to students in grades 4-8 regarding cyberbullying.
Sponsored by Microsoft, the “Alex Wonder – The Bully in the Machine” flash animation was developed in collaboration between WiredTrust and by the animators of the Child Safety Research and Innovation Center.
WiredTrust designers created a character named “Alex Wonder – Kid Cyberdetective” to appeal to this age group. They then set about creating a cast which would appeal to this age group.
With these interesting animated characters Alex solves cyber-mysteries and prevents cybercrime and abuse.
The punchy animation was well received by both children and educators alike. Because of this and realizing the impact of the characters, WiredTrust has decided to release the “Alex Wonder – Kid Cyberdetective Bootcamp” game, which teaches kids how to stay safer online and avoid cyberbullies.
"WiredTrust is one of the most important leaders in the internet safety industry. We are proud to partner with them to help to educate kids and parents about this important topic."
